Job summary

Thanet Earth Ltd. is seeking a Quality Assurance Multi-Skilled Operative to join our QA Team. The role focuses on raw material intake, finished product assessments, inspections and other quality tasks to support a busy production environment.

You will liaise daily with QA and Production Management to ensure customer specifications are met, advise on quality issues, and help drive improvements. A 40-hour week across five days, including weekends, with early or late shifts, is required.

Qualifications

• Able to learn and uphold customer specifications to maintain product quality.
• Experience liaising with QA and Production teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw material intake and finished product assessments and inspections.
• Perform other ad hoc quality tasks within operating areas.
• Ensure customer specifications are met and coordinate with QA/Production management.

Quality Assurance Multi-Skilled Operative

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our QA Team as a Multi-Skilled Operative.

Your main responsibilities will include raw material intake and finished product assessments and inspections, and other ad hoc quality related tasks within the operational areas.

Other responsibilities will include ensuring that customer specifications are met in full, liaising with QA and Production Management teams daily with regards to final product quality, and where corrective actions are necessary to improve future production, advising the Production lines of any quality issues and guiding them on acceptable and unacceptable standards.

Key skills & knowledge required: The successful candidate will need to be able to learn and uphold customer specifications to give our customers full confidence in the products we are supplying.

Hours of work: Thanet Earth is a 7 day a week operation. You will be required to work a 40 hour week over 5 days which includes weekends and bank holidays. It may also be necessary at times to work outside these hours to meet the demands of the business.

Shift times are either 06:00-15:00 or 15:00-0:00.
