Job description

This is a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover). The successful candidate is expected to start in February 2026. The role The team is at the forefront of driving up standards, providing confidence to our key stakeholders in our regulatory activities. This is an exciting time to join as we are currently working on measuring the success of a large-scale Continuous Programme within our Investigation and Enforcement Directorate. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will own, drive and optimise quality assurance in a consistent way across the organisation. You will be accountable for conducting case reviews, analysing results, and providing feedback to the organisation on identified trends and themes, ensuring delivery of the SRA's overall strategic objectives. You will work as a part of a team that is designed to improve consistency and efficiency. You will engage with senior stakeholders to build an understanding of requirements to build into the design and delivery of quality assurance activities. You will lead on identifying areas of efficiency and improvement including developing recommendations for operational teams. In addition, there are opportunities to undertake thematic work and provide consultancy services to other areas across the organisation to support with the development of QA frameworks. You will need strong analytical, judgment and communication skills.   • This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week. This is a hybrid role. We are recruiting for this role in our Birmingham, Cardiff, and London offices. You will be based in the office nearest to your location, with the expectation of working 1-2 days a week in the office and the remainder of the week from home. If you are based in Cardiff or London, occasional travel will be required to Birmingham for team meetings or attendance at events. The salary offer for this role is £43,427 for Birmingham and Cardiff based and £47,769 for London based.
