Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Quality Assurance Manager on a Permanent Basis, based Across the UK.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to support compliance across Power, Rail and Highways. This role provides independent audit oversight to business units and involves extensive travel across the UK, including Northern Ireland. The QA Manager will assess regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, and risk management within complex infrastructure environments.

Primary tasks and duties

• To participate in the completion of the audit plan. Both internal and external
• To oversee both internal and external audits ensuring necessary evidence is compiled.
• To communicate with the Lead HSQE Managers and relevant Operations staff, ensuring audit requirements are met and prep completed.
• To ensure all necessary compliance reporting is completed for the Heads of HSQE and the Senior Team.
• To manage and facilitate both internal and external audits ensuring necessary evidence is compiled.
• To assist in the development and improvement of process with the relevant operations personnel in all areas supporting the Lead Compliance Manager
• To provide independent review of the BU's systems and compliance with relevant Legislation, Standards and Company process.
• Build effective relationships

Secondary tasks and duties

• To communicate updates/changes/improvements in both systems and working process to and with Operations and Compliance/HSQE Teams.
• To provide and promote support for compliance issues from the BUs.
• Creation and updating of common evidence folders for audits.
• Procedural reviews for all areas with a common focus ensuring all are in date, updated with the owners and changes briefed out.
• Management of LUS and Management Reviews for all BU's.
• Management of NCR close out process with operations.
• Management of the Legal Compliance
• To complete audits as required
• To manage necessary travel and location visits.
• To provide and promote support for compliance issues from the BU's.

Requirements

• NEBOSH National General Certificate, Occupational Health and Safety
• Internal Auditor Training
• At least 3 years' experience of Auditing (Internal/External)
• Excellent computer skills, SharePoint, MS Word, Excel
• Approachable and helpful attitude
• Prepared to train new team members as and when required
