Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging in Rugby, UK seeks a Quality Manager to maintain and proactively develop GMP-compliant quality practices from raw material to finished product.

You will lead ISO 9001 and ISO 22001 systems, manage supplier and customer quality performance, and drive corrective actions including calibration and lab management. Experience in fast-paced manufacturing is essential. Strong teamwork and KPI focus will be required to sustain excellence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SPC, 5 “S”, capability studies, ISO, audits, FMEA, and food safety is essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, Apriso and Infinity is required for daily quality operations.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement Quality ISO 9001 and ISO 22001 management systems.
• Manage incoming materials quality, trial protocols and assessments.
• Lead customer and supplier quality performance via audits, liaison, and complaints.
• Proactively interface with plant teams to drive quality improvements.
• Oversee QA lab operations, calibration and robust containment and preventive actions.
