Quality Assurance Inspector (Mechanical / CMM / ISO)

Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield (Commutable from Mansfield, Nottingham, Alfreton, Chesterfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Training + Career Progression + Excellent Benefits

Role

• Inspect and measure precision‑engineered mechanical components to detailed engineering drawings.
• Operate CMM machines and use a range of metrology and inspection equipment.
• Perform calibration, dimensional checks, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Support documentation, QA processes, and liaise with engineering and production teams on quality issues.

Person

• Experience as a Quality Inspector, QA Technician, or similar within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Confident using CMM machines and dimensional measurement tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and quality inspection techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Keen to develop technical skills within a forward‑thinking engineering company.
