Job summary

Mulberry, the Somerset-born British lifestyle brand, is seeking a temporary Quality Inspection Team member to cover sickness absence. You will inspect bags and raw materials inline and end of line, following the Sealed Sample and 1st Production Sample, and support reporting of non-conformances.

Work four days per week (Monday to Thursday) across Mulberry sites. You'll collaborate with Materials Technologists, maintain lab equipment, and ensure paperwork is completed for quality analysis while

Qualifications

• A very good eye for detail.

• IT skills would be useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all finished goods to the correct standards using the Sealed Sample and 1st Production Sample.
• Carry out Packing on finished goods using the correct Packing Specifications.
• Raise awareness of trends to Supervisor/Manager for resolution.
• Manage reporting including inspection, non-conformance and delivery paperwork for quality analysis.
• Work in a timely manner to clear all products by the end of the week.
• Carry out In line Inspection of lines.
• Inspect raw materials and components with Materials Technologists (rub test, light fastness, etc.).
• Record results and distribute to relevant partners.
• Provide information for leather allowances reviewed by the costings team.
• Maintain the lab and testing equipment.
• Assist in other areas of the Department as necessary.
