Qualifications

Quality Assurance Inspector

Sheffield | £15.58 per hour | Day shifts, full-time, permanent

We're working with a leading engineering business who supply into high-spec sectors including aerospace and advanced manufacturing. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a Quality Assurance Inspector to their days-based team.

What you'll be doing
  • Inspect precision-engineered components to company and customer specifications
  • Carry out manual and CMM inspections (first-off and final)
  • Conduct goods-inward inspections and support with equipment calibration
  • Produce and maintain inspection reports, FAIR and PPAP documentation
  • Raise QCNs for non-conforming products and support root cause investigations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and zero-defect initiatives
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to maintain high standards
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role (engineering or manufacturing)
  • Competent in CMM inspection - programming knowledge an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Confident working to customer specifications and drawings
  • Organised, motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team

  • Calibration experience
  • Aerospace industry background
