A leading materials technology company is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer based in Pendlebury, UK. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards in a manufacturing environment, focusing on aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will have a relevant diploma and experience in quality assurance methodologies, with a salary range of £34,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. The Role: Quality Assurance Engineer (Manufacturing/Aerospace) As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with the Quality Manager on a wide range of manufacturing quality assurance activities to ensure KPIs are achieved. You will play an integral role in investigating and responding to non-conformances, analysing production quality data, driving continuous improvement, maintaining and calibrating inspection equipment, and supporting both internal and external audits. The successful candidate will work within the Quality Assurance department, supporting key processes including New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Realisation, with a strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ideally within the aerospace or advanced manufacturing industries. Experience in reviewing engineering drawings, machining techniques for metal parts, and supplier auditing, qualification, and monitoring is highly desirable.
You will be employed on a permanent contract working from our site in Swinton, Greater Manchester, working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday with flexibility to meet business need. You will demonstrate excellent teamwork and accountability, influencing colleagues in other departments.
