Job description

Lead QA & Technical Support Engineer (Health‑Tech Scale‑Up)

Are you a QA Engineer who loves breaking things so clinicians don’t have to?

We are working with an innovative health‑tech scale‑up that is transforming how critical medical knowledge is accessed at the point of care. Their platform is already used by hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals, from major UK acute hospitals to world‑leading institutions in the US, and following a significant Series A raise, the team is growing fast.

They are now hiring their first dedicated Lead QA & Technical Support Engineer—a role where your work will have a direct impact on patient safety and real clinical decision‑making.

Why this role is different

This isn’t a typical QA role.

As well as hands‑on testing across web and mobile, you’ll help diagnose and resolve technical issues in production, working closely with engineers and clinicians. Your approach will shape the entire QA function as the organisation scales.

What you’ll be doing
  • Designing and executing manual test cases
  • Developing and maintaining automated tests (Cypress / Detox / Playwright)
  • Reproducing and resolving issues with the engineering team
  • Engaging with real users (HCPs) to identify technical issues
  • Driving QA strategy and improving automation coverage
What we’re looking for
  • 3+ years in QA (manual + automation)
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies & defect management
  • Experience across web, API and ideally mobile testing
  • Ability to communicate clearly with engineers & stakeholders
  • Ownership mindset and passion for quality
What’s on offer

Rare chance to build QA from the ground up in a mission‑driven team.

Why this is a standout opportunity

Your work will influence how frontline healthcare professionals make decisions every day.

You’ll collaborate with a unique team of doctors and engineers building the next generation of AI‑powered clinical tools. You’ll join at a pivotal scaling moment where your impact won’t just be noticed—it will define the future of the product.
