Quality Assurance and Market Oversight Officer
Location: Commissioning, Assurance and Reform, Town Hall, South Shields
Salary: £33,699 pa
Overview
We are seeking an individual with a good understanding and experience of quality assurance within a social care context or related field. You will be able to effectively plan and deliver quality assurance visits with assessed outcomes across the range of commissioned services in Adult Social Care both in the borough and on occasions within the wider North East region. You will also play a key role in supporting the Provider Concerns process and in any identified safeguarding activity. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop the quality of the commissioned offer for people in receipt of care and support.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver quality assurance visits with assessed outcomes across commissioned services in Adult Social Care within the borough and, on occasions, the wider North East region.
- Support the Provider Concerns process and assist with safeguarding activity as identified.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good understanding and experience of quality assurance within a social care context or related field.
- Ability to effectively plan and deliver quality assurance activities and assess outcomes.
