Job description

The QA Administration Assistant is part of a team responsible for advising and supporting the planning, implementation, monitoring and optimization of business processes within the areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Control. This is a temporary role for 1 year to assist progression to IATF 1649 standard. The QA Administration Assistant has a diverse range of tasks that are described below:

  • Seeks to continuously improve the quality performance of the site. The QA officer is self-motivated, taking initiative to identify potential improvements and helping to drive their implementation.
  • Helps to maintain site Quality Management Systems & certifications, with a focus on progression towards IATF 16949 standard
  • Assists the Quality Manager with completion and archiving of internal audit documentation
  • Enters actions into corrective action and preventive action logs
  • Prepares and updates quality documents as required & enters into document control system
  • Provides support for Quality improvement projects
  • Maintains databases, as required
  • Education in quality-related field
  • Understanding of the importance of quality standards
  • At least 2+ years of relevant work experience in quality-related role
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
