Overview

Quality & Process Documentation Lead — ERP Transformation – ISO 9001 & 14001

Axis CLC is embarking on a major transformation programme to unify our trading entities under a single ERP platform. This will reshape core business processes across HR, Procurement, Finance and Operations, creating a modern, efficient, and scalable way of working.

To ensure these new processes are accurately defined, documented and aligned to our Quality Management System (QMS), we are recruiting a Quality & Process Documentation Lead to join the ERP project team. You will play a key role in shaping our future ways of working and ensuring ongoing ISO accreditation across the Group.

The Role

The Quality & Process Documentation Lead will support the organisation through major process change by :

  • Mapping, defining and documenting new business processes during the ERP rollout.
  • Updating, structuring and integrating the QMS (ISO 9001 & 14001) to align with redesigned processes.
  • Designing internal audit regimes to test, verify and maintain ISO compliance throughout the transformation.
  • Working closely with HR, Finance, Procurement and Operational teams to ensure consistency in process design and documentation.
  • Creating clear, accessible SOPs, workflows, guidance and quality controls.
  • Supporting preparation for external ISO audits and surveillance visits.
  • Ensuring documentation and audit trails remain accurate, traceable and aligned across the Group.
  • Acting as a key link between the ERP project team, functional leads, and the wider Quality Assurance function.
About You
  • We are looking for someone who brings strong ISO / QMS expertise and enjoys process design and collaborative working. You will have :
  • Proven experience with ISO 9001 and / or ISO 14001, including QMS documentation and audit preparation.
  • Experience mapping and redesigning business processes (BPM, SOP creation, workflow documentation).
  • Exposure to ERP-enabled processes (any system : SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, IFS, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills — able to translate complex processes into clear, usable content.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to version control and evidence management.
  • Confidence leading workshops with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Procurement and Operations.
  • A proactive and organised approach, able to balance multiple workstreams and deadlines during change.
  • We are not seeking a financial auditor, SOX specialist, or AML / internal audit profile for this role.
Benefits
  • 25 days’ annual leave + bank holidays
  • Perkbox – discounts on coffee, cinema, travel & wellbeing
  • Long-service awards
  • 1 paid volunteer day per year
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Supportive environment with strong internal career pathways
