Job summary

Compass Associates partners with a healthcare organisation to recruit a Quality and Locations Compliance Officer for support across clinic locations in South London. The role combines quality assurance, audits, governance and incident administration with regular travel between sites.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will work with service managers and clinical teams to monitor compliance, drive improvements and promote patient safety. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare quality, governance or compliance.

We are partnering with a healthcare organisation seeking a Quality and Locations Compliance Officer to support the delivery of safe, effective and compliant services across different clinic locations.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will provide operational support to the Quality Team and work closely with Service Managers, clinical teams and operational colleagues to monitor compliance, undertake audits, support governance activities and promote continuous improvement. The role combines quality assurance, audit, complaints and incident administration, governance support and quality improvement, with regular travel between clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a quality and compliance resource for allocated clinic locations, conducting site visits and audits against organisational, contractual and regulatory standards.
• Identify non-compliance issues and support teams to implement and sustain improvements.
• Monitor and track actions arising from audits, inspections, quality reviews, incidents and complaints, maintaining accurate records.
• Escalate significant risks, concerns and recurring compliance themes to the Quality Manager.
• Support services to maintain inspection readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the implementation of the clinical governance framework, including governance meetings, action logs and audit programmes.
• Support the review and development of policies, procedures and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with preparation for inspections, external audits, commissioner reviews, investigations and governance reporting.
• Support quality improvement initiatives through the collection, analysis and reporting of quality and performance data.
• Build strong working relationships with operational and clinical teams, promoting a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement.

About You

• Experience within healthcare quality, governance, compliance, audit or administration
• Experience in a healthcare, community, primary care or regulated environment
• Understanding of quality assurance, governance and compliance processes
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to analyse information and identify trends and risks
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic information systems
• Willingness to travel regularly between clinic locations
• Experience supporting audits, inspections or compliance reviews
• Experience supporting complaints, incidents or governance processes
• Experience supporting quality improvement projects
• Knowledge of NHS governance, CQC standards and healthcare compliance frameworks
• Understanding of patient safety principles and PSIRF
• Aspiration to progress with a genuine interest in building a long-term career within healthcare quality, governance and patient safety

Location: South London |Hybrid

Commutable from Croydon, Bromley, Sutton, Redhill, Reigate, Orpington, Caterham and the surrounding areas.

Three days based in the office with two days working from home, plus visits to clinic locations when required.
