Quality Advisor / Auditor

JRL Group are looking for a Quality Advisor / Auditor for a permanent position based from our Head Office in Borehamwood, WD6. This is a permanent position available immediately.

Brief Description Of Role

Attending sites and undertaking inspections & Audits, producing reports and providing site support. Between two and four days per fortnight is spent at head office collating reports, attending meetings and carrying out other administration activities. The other days will be spent visiting sites.

Other tasks include creating, assessing and communicating weekly and monthly reports on project performance and other reports defined by the quality function.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Working with the quality team to assist in the development, implementation, monitoring, and managing project compliance.
  • Carrying out site inspections and operational audits on site as required.
  • Offering ongoing support to Site Managers and site staff in the use of our systems and carry out training as required.
  • Auditing ongoing processes to determine compliance levels.
  • Preparing reports based on the results of inspections and audits to be presented and shared with the Quality Team/ Senior Management.
  • Assisting in the management and maintenance of policies and procedures.
  • Identifying process improvements that lead to cost savings or revenue enhancement opportunities.
  • Assisting with external audits where required.
  • Ensuring that all site records and documentation are accurate and complete.
  • Supporting the business with continual improvement.
  • Any other duties required to support the development of the Quality Management System
Essential Criteria
  • Punctual
  • Construction (RC frame) experience.
  • Experience with site-based management software e.g. Field View, SnagR etc.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to produce clear, concise reports.
  • Tenacious, analytical and inquisitive.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Highly organised and methodical with good time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance.
  • Excellent IT skills and confident in using a range of IT tools.
  • Friendly, Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience in Quality Management Systems i.e. ISO 9001

  • Technical qualification (e.g. Construction Management, Civil Engineering, etc.)
