J3A Recruitment is working with an established civil engineering and utilities contractor looking to appoint a Quality Advisor to support projects across the North West.
This is a hands‑on quality position where you'll work closely with project and site teams to drive a right first time approach, improve standards and ensure projects are delivered in line with client specifications, industry requirements and company management systems.
The position is based from the company's Kearsley office, with regular travel across projects throughout the North West.
The core focus of the role is promoting good quality practice across the business while ensuring projects comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
The role also involves periodic systems reviews, supporting continuous improvement programmes and leading internal and supply chain audits.
We're looking for somebody with experience working within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure who is comfortable working directly with site and project teams.
Knowledge of NHSS 16 & 30, MURS, Lean principles or CQI membership would be advantageous.
This is a great opportunity for a Quality Advisor who wants to get away from purely paperwork‑driven quality roles and have a genuine influence on how projects are delivered.
You’ll be working directly with operational teams, helping improve standards, reduce defects and make sure projects are delivered right first time.
