Job description
The Quality Administrator

We are looking to hire a quality administrator to assist the quality manager with daily quality control analysis to ensure consistent product quality across all sites, product and waste streams.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse data from quality testing and create daily reports for management
  • Produce weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc quality reports as required
  • Complete weekly certificates of conformance for all customers
  • Control the external testing plan, including obtaining and sending samples on a monthly basis, and communicating results to customers
  • Monitor, audit and evaluate production processes to detect and correct deviations from quality standards
  • Train staff on quality control practices and procedures to promote a quality‑focused culture within the organization
  • Work with suppliers and contractors to ensure their products or services meet the company’s quality standards
  • Collaborate with management to implement new quality initiatives and monitor their success
  • Record and investigate customer complaints in line with company procedure
  • Maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
  • Maintain process flow diagrams for each plant, amending when internal changes are actioned
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards
  • Assist the quality manager maintain URMs BS EN ISO9001, BS EN ISO14001, BS EN ISO45001 accreditations, plan and conduct internal audits, and continually develop the quality manual and procedures
  • Assist the quality manager with compliance end‑of‑waste (EOW) regulations for glass cullet including tests, standard updates and reporting
