Job summary

AQA is seeking a Qualification Quality Lead to shape quality approaches across qualification development, governance and accreditation. You will define and embed quality assurance frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance, and support submissions to accreditation bodies.

The role offers hybrid working across Guildford/Milton Keynes with a fixed-term 2-year contract. You will lead quality processes, drive best practice, and coordinate with senior stakeholders to ensure materials are

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or qualification development.
• Ability to analyse, compare and align content across documents and subject areas.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Quality assure qualification materials (specifications, SAMs and assessment strategies) for consistency and alignment.
• Proofread assessment materials to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Identify, track and resolve discrepancies or risks across drafts and final materials.
• Support accreditation readiness and manage submission readiness.
• Manage regulatory submission portals and coordinate responses to feedback.
• Provide clear, evidence-based feedback to colleagues to support improvements.
