Rentokil Initial Group in Crawley (Hybrid) seeks a Treasury Accountant to join our Global Finance team and support the Senior Treasury Accountant in managing treasury accounting, system administration, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in treasury or corporate accounting, strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and proficiency with Excel, Business Central, and Kyriba; ACA/ACCA/CIMA with AMCT preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of treasury, corporate accounting, and cash management experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency with Excel, ERP systems (e.g., Business Central) and Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly financial reporting and budgeting/forecasting into Cognos for Group entities.
• Record transactions across Business Central, Kyriba, and reporting systems.
• Prepare statutory reports at half-year and year-end and assist with notes for annual/ interim statements.
• Record monthly mark-to-market valuations of derivatives.

Qualified Treasury Accountant Rentokil Initial Group Crawley, England, GB

About the Role

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to advance your career? Rentokil Initial is seeking a dedicated Treasury Accountant to join our Global Finance team based in Crawley (Hybrid).

In this critical role, you will support our Senior Treasury Accountant in managing all aspects of accounting for our Group companies within the Treasury Back Office. You will ensure that all treasury transactions are reviewed, approved, and compliant with corporate policy, while playing a key role in treasury systems administration and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly financial reporting and budgeting/forecasting into Cognos for Group entities.
• Ensure transactions are accurately recorded across our accounting system (Business Central), Treasury Management System (Kyriba), and reporting systems.
• Prepare statutory reports at half-year and year-end, and assist with notes for the Annual Report and Interim Statements.
• Record monthly mark-to-market valuations of derivatives.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure strict compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal accounting controls.
• Complete monthly reconciliations and evidence of accounting controls, including comprehensive bank reconciliations.
• Monitor compliance with internal treasury policies and ensure trades are submitted to the trade repository.

Analysis & Treasury Operations

• Review and approve static data and treasury transactions within the TMS (Kyriba).
• Prepare detailed slides for the monthly Treasury Committee pack and calculate semi-annual WACC.
• Provide vital Back Office support to the Treasury Front Office teams and administer Group banking portals.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in treasury, corporate accounting, and cash management.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial reporting and practical application of GAAP and IFRS.
• Systems Proficiency: Highly proficient with accounting and finance technology tools, specifically Excel, ERP systems (e.g., Business Central), and Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba).
• Working Style: A resourceful, analytical problem-solver who works independently to implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain strong working relationships with financial leaders and handle highly confidential information.
• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) with relevant accounting experience. An AMCT qualification is highly preferred.
