Autism East Midlands is seeking a Qualified Teaching Assistant to support our teachers in delivering a high-quality education tailored to the individual needs of pupils. The role requires autism-informed practice, flexibility, and a person-centered approach to learning to keep pupils safe, happy and valued.

Role is term-time, with full-time or part-time options and competitive hourly pay (£15.29). Training, induction, and CPD opportunities are provided to support professional development.

Qualified Teaching Assistant

Do you want to be part of our growing team?

We are looking for Full-Time and Part-Time teaching assistants to join our team, term-time only.

Salary: £15.29 per hour (term time)

We offer comprehensive training, fully paid induction and on-going Continued Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.

As a qualified Teaching Assistant, your role will be to support our teachers in providing and developing a high-quality education to address the individual needs of pupils.

Good autism practice is essential to this role, along with a person-centred approach to learning. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the ability to be flexible and dynamic in your approaches. It is vital that you can maintain an environment where our pupils feel happy, safe and valued.

You will possess the relevant teaching assistant qualifications for this position and a qualifications matrix can be found on the person specification. As part of this role, you will need to be comfortable in providing intimate care.
