Overview

Location: Greater Manchester

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term

Daily Rate: 90 to 110 per day (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to raise attainment and build confidence
• Provide targeted intervention and support for students with additional needs
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning habits
• Prepare and organise learning materials to aid classroom delivery
• Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff to ensure student progress

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working within a secondary school setting
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Ability to support students across a range of subjects and abilities
• A valid enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
