Job summary

Grass Roots Academic Support is seeking experienced supply teachers to work across a range of Secondary Schools in Ipswich and surrounding areas. This flexible opportunity allows short daily cover or longer-term roles, depending on the school's needs and your availability.

You'll need QTS, a clear DBS, and a proven teaching record or strong references, plus solid classroom and behaviour management to adapt quickly and deliver engaging lessons.

Qualifications

• QTS required.

• Recent and clear DBS Disclosure.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across secondary subjects as needed.
• Adapt to varying timetables and cover short to long-term absences.

Supply teaching can be anything from a 1 day absence cover, which may only be called in that morning, to long term ongoing roles, so it really is down to what suits you.
