Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Supply Teacher to work in Peterborough and surrounding areas, offering flexible days and hours to fit your lifestyle. You will cover lessons in the absence of the regular teacher and adapt to school expectations.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons aligned to the national curriculum, managing classroom behaviour, providing feedback to staff, and attending professional development sessions as required. DBS and QTS are required.

Qualifications

Salary:£170 - £230 per day

What will be expected of you:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher
• Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
• Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Previous experience working as a teacher or educator
• Experience working with students of various age groups

Knowledge and Skills:

• Thorough understanding of the national curriculum
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
