Overview

Qualified Social Worker, Fostering Team Manager

Pay rate £45.20 per hour

Contract role

We are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work as a Team Manager in a Fostering and Permanence Team in Camden.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Fostering & Permanence Team to ensure the provision of a high quality, comprehensive and effective service, including preparing for inspections.
  • Influence developments that affect social work practice and provide professional leadership while facilitating collaboration within a multi-agency context as appropriate.
  • Act as the specialist advisor on Fostering and Permanence for Looked After Children and contribute to the development of relevant policy and services.
  • Translate statutory, community, voluntary and independent resources within the context of government legislation, Council and departmental policy to enhance best practice and outcomes for children.
  • Work with the Camden Model of Social Work, described by Ofsted as a learning culture supported by a systemic model of practice; operate under Ofsted-rated outstanding leadership and management to create a dynamic, professionally fertile environment for social workers at all levels.
