What You Will Do

Manage a diverse and complex Children and Families caseload.

Undertake assessments and reviews to promote the welfare and safety of children.

Prepare detailed welfare reports and represent children’s interests in court when required.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to implement effective safeguarding strategies.

Travel across Kent to visit children, providing essential support and care — especially in emergency situations.

Requirements

Degree in Social Work or equivalent (DipSW, CQSW).

Completion of ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment).

Post-qualification experience managing complex caseloads within a Children’s Services environment.
