Ongoing locum opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker in the Adults Safeguarding Team within Middlesbrough. With potential earnings of £203.90 daily, this role offers flexibility with Full Time and Part Time positions available.

As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you’ll become an integral part of our Access Safeguarding Team, supporting the community by managing safeguarding enquiries. Our team consists of a dynamic group including a Team Manager, two Principal Practitioners, six Social Workers, three Safeguarding Outreach Workers, and two Safeguarding Administrators. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive environment where safeguarding is truly everyone’s responsibility, guided by the principles of the Teeswide Safeguarding Adults Board.

What you will do:

Lead safeguarding investigations ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Manage and respond to safeguarding enquiries, supporting vulnerable adults in Middlesbrough.

Collaborate with team members, other professionals, and external agencies to deliver excellent safeguarding outcomes.

Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation as required by the team manager.

Actively contribute to the team’s effectiveness by participating in meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
