About the Role

A fantastic locum opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Adults Community Mental Health Team in Blackpool. This role offers the chance to provide comprehensive mental health care to older adults within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

With part-time hours and a competitive hourly rate of £30.00, this position provides flexibility while offering the opportunity to enhance your professional expertise and make a tangible impact in adult social care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct holistic assessments, multi-disciplinary risk assessments, care planning, and long-term social work support in accordance with the Care Act 2014.

Provide support for older adults and their carers, focusing on empowerment and user-focused outcomes.

Work collaboratively with health colleagues in an integrated, co-located setting to ensure a joint approach to service planning and delivery.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current issues and developments relating to social care and adult mental health.

Participate actively in professional supervision and team meetings to support continuous improvement.

Comply fully with department policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.

Prepare and present reports to ensure clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Qualified Social Worker with experience in adult mental health care.

Knowledge of statutory frameworks, including the Care Act 2014.
