Overview

Qualified Social Workers required within Older Adults Community team. 3-6 Month Contract. Rate £38 per hour (Umbrella Rate). Location: Totton, Havant and Gosport. Hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the quality of life and well-being of older people and their families and promote independence, autonomy, and dignity.
• Enable people to be safe, as independent as possible, and to live the lives they want. Adults of all ages can need extra support in day-to-day life for various and often complex reasons.
• Carry out complex assessments and safeguarding enquiries, using suitable methods to suggest clear, relevant, and appropriate strategies to achieve goals and outcomes and manage risks.
• Collaborate with adults, their families, carers, advocates, and external organisations to provide professional social work support to vulnerable older adults, those with physical and sensory impairments, and their carers.
• Must be able to drive and have business insurance.
