Job summary

ACCA Careers in Exeter is seeking a Qualified Senior Accountant to take hands-on delivery of accounts and tax, review work, and manage client service within a growing division of the practice. You will work closely with the management and Partner team, with a clear progression path on offer.

You will hold ACA/ACCA qualifications with a career background in accountancy practice, delivering for sole traders, partnerships and SMEs, while mentoring junior staff and expanding advisory services.

Qualifications

• Qualified Senior Accountant with ACA or ACCA credentials.
• Experience in handling accounts and tax for SMEs and OMBs.
• Background in small to large accountancy firms with progression focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee year-end accounts and tax compliance for sole traders, partnerships and companies.
• Review and mentor junior staff and lead advisory and planning work.
• Build and manage client relationships and contribute to firm growth.

A growing accountancy practice based in Exeter has a requirement for a Qualified Senior Accountant to join them taking on the hands on delivery, review and management of accounts, tax and wider all around service provision within a growing division of their practice, working closely with the management and Partner team with a clear progression path on offer.

Description

Joining this firm as a Qualified Senior Accountant you will bring your background as an all-rounder accounts, tax general accountancy practice professional to service sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs with a hands-on approach, alongside managing the full delivery and building client relationships. Alongside being hands on with year end accounts and tax preparation, compliance and delivery on this side you will review, mentor and train junior staff and lead on delivering added value, advisory and planning work to clients. You will carve a career within this firm as key support to the firms partners carving an influential role and career within this leading firm, with career progression on offer.

Profile

For this Qualified Senior Accountant role you will hold either of the ACA /ACCA qualifications with a career background in accountancy practice having developed your career to around the Senior levels. You will have an all-around accounts/tax career background gained within any of small, medium/large accountancy firm environments as an all-around general accountancy practice professional and you will be seeking a move with a career progression path on offer.

Job Offer

Circa £35,000- £45,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
