About the Role:

Connex Educationis seeking an exceptional and passionate SEN Teacher to join a dedicated team. This educational organisation supports pupils with diverse learning difficulties functioning below age‑related expectations, including SEMH needs. They provide a varied curriculum tailored to help each child achieve individual goals. As a SEND Teacher, you’ll work in an engaging environment supporting both academic development and social‑emotional growth, helping students become respectful community members. The role requires a hardworking, resilient educator committed to making a positive impact on vulnerable children’s lives through personalized learning approaches.

Assignment Details:

Full‑time position providing 1:1 academic support to looked‑after students. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:30am‑4pm.

Essential requirement: comfort and experience working with young people who have varied special educational needs, particularly SEND/SEMH. The role demands expertise in supporting vulnerable students with diverse learning challenges through individualised teaching approaches.

As a successful SEND Teacher with Connex Education Partnership, you will possess:

• Hold a QTS Qualification
• Have experience working with individuals with SEN
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Confident in your behaviour management skills

• Hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one through Connex
• Be able to show proof of work in the UK
• Willing to travel between schools to provide onsite teaching support if needed
