Les Petites Etoiles - Bilingual Montessori is a chain of nurseries in North London, offering a bilingual English/French environment with Mandarin exposure. The Key Person role supports 8–13 children weekly, ensuring individual plans and progression for each child.

Salary is £29,513 (Level 3) with progression to Level 3+. Hours are 38 per week, Monday to Friday, with 7 weeks' paid holiday. The role includes safeguarding, DBS checks, and extensive staff development opportunities.

• Key people have the honour to be responsible for a group of between 8 and 13 key children per week.
• DBS checks and a DBS update service will be carried out for applicants, including DBS from prior countries within the last 5 years.

• Be the primary relationship for each key child and understand their individual needs.

Qualified practitioner- Key Person Role

Key people have the honour to be responsible for a group of between 8 and 13 key children per week (many of the children are part time). We may start you with fewer key children, but you will gain more over time. You will want to ensure they can participate in the activities you have planned for them and that they are progressing in their development.

The primary responsibility of the key person is to have a deep knowledge and understanding of each key child individually. The key person should be the key children’s primary relationship within the nursery, and be able to respond to, and plan for each child’s needs throughout the week.
