Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Qualified Nurse Associate for Rosewood Ward at The Meadows. The role supports a multi-disciplinary team in ongoing patient assessment and care delivery for females with complex conditions, including dementia.)

Under supervision of registered nurses, you will bridge the gap between HCAs and RNs, delivering high-quality nursing care, and participating in education and development activities within the ward framework.

Qualifications

• NMC registration and current practising status.
• Completion of preceptorship period with Medicines Management Competency framework.
• Experience in mental health or dementia care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ongoing patient assessment and provide/monitor care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Help bridge the gap between health care assistants and registered nurses while working within the nursing process.
• Provide compassionate, safe, evidence-based care and support to patients across care settings.
• Perform routine nursing procedures such as venepuncture, ECG recording, blood glucose monitoring and vital signs measurement.
