Who we are:

Happy Ni os Nursery & Pre-school is a private nursery in Stratford. The nursery's vision is to create a happy and encouraging space, surrounded by stimulating and educational resources, allowing the children to grow and reach their full potential and support them in their journey to school start.

Happy Ni os Nursery and Pre-school are proud of the EYFS knowledge, the special educational needs competence and the extra curricular activities that the nursery is offering. Amongst others, you will find a sensory corner, Music and Dance lessons, Spanish bilingual teaching, Cooking Class and many other activities to make exploring the world fun and enjoyable for all ages and needs.

The nursery has 3 rooms for different ages, the baby room for babies until they start walking, the toddler room from walking to 3 years old and the preschool room for 3 to 5 year olds ready for school. Each room has age appropriate resources, furniture and equipment to allow for the children to learn and grow and enjoy our very own curriculum.

Our nursery is based in between Stratford and Maryland stations which stations are served by the Elizabeth, Central, Jubilee, London Overground, DLR and other mainline train services.

What are we looking for?

  • Candidate must hold relevant L3 early years childcare qualifications
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS and to ensure the setting meets each area
  • Good understanding of planning, observing and assessments
  • The importance of knowing your children and how to support each one individually
  • To know the policies and procedures of the nursery and ensure they are being followed
  • The importance of safeguarding and whistle blowing
  • Somebody who can work well in a group as well as on their own
  • Build a strong and positive relationship with parents to ensure we are working in partnership
  • Someone who will create inspiring learning experiences for all children allowing them to reach their full potential
  • Somebody who can promote respect of different race, culture, religion, disability

Salary

27,000- 31,000 based on relevant experience

Job type
Full time / Permanent - will be required to commit to work on varying shifts Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 18:00
