Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children?If so, we invite you to join our dedicated team at Highwood Nursery as a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, on a full‑time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,834 - £25,565 depending on experience.

Highwood Nursery is located at Brockenhurst College, in the New Forest, close to the village centre. There are places for babies, toddlers and children up to the age of five years. Highwood Nursery is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and we are on the journey to outstanding, so this is an exciting time to join us.

About the role:

You will need suitable experience of working with children in a group care setting and be able to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of childcare, development and behaviour. You will sound have knowledge of how to provide opportunities for children to learn through play experiences and supporting children to develop at their own pace.

You should be hard working, dedicated, caring and enjoy working with young children in a challenging but rewarding team environment. You need good communication skills both written and verbal and be committed to work flexibly within the high standards expected in our setting.
