Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd in Worksop is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our friendly team. You will provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and thrive, working closely with colleagues and parents to support each child's needs.

Applicants should hold Level 3 or above in Early Years / Childcare, be passionate about young children, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent).
• Passionate about working with young children.
• Able to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.
• Knowledgeable about the EYFS and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to children.
• Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
• Observe, assess and record children's development in line with the EYFS.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a supportive and professional team.
