Job summary

Partou Lavender Hill Day Nursery & Pre-school in Battersea, South London, is seeking a Level 2/3 Early Years qualified practitioner to join as Lunchtime Cover Assistant. This part-time, permanent role offers 15 hours per week with a starting salary of £13.40 per hour.

You will support learning and development per EYFS, ensure a safe, inclusive environment, and collaborate with families and the nursery team during staff lunch breaks. Prior EYFS knowledge is essential.

About the Role

Partou Lavender Hill Day Nursery & Pre-schoolis seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified nursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15hours per weekrole of Lunchtime Cover Assistant. You will work towardsensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain asafe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families. You'll play a key role in supporting our nursery team, stepping in to provide cover while our staff enjoy their well-deserved lunch break. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys the bustling energy of a nursery setting and thrives in a supportive role.
