Job summary

Five Education Recruitment Limited seeks a qualified Nursery Practitioner to support multiple nurseries across South Bristol. The role offers £14–£15 per hour, full-time hours (7:30am–5:30pm), and an immediate start.

You will work with children aged 0-5, delivering EYFS-aligned activities in a safe, caring setting. Ideal candidates hold Level 2/3 childcare qualifications, have DBS checks, and can commit to term-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• A caring, reliable, and proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children aged 0-5 years in their learning and development.
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
• Delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Supporting children's social, emotional, and educational development.
• Following safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
