Job summary

Bright Horizons St Johns Wood is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our nursery in London. You will support EYFS delivery, engaging children in educational activities and helping with day-to-day tasks within a supportive team.

The role requires a Full Level 3+ Early Years qualification and prior nursery experience. DBS checks and safeguarding awareness are part of the recruitment process. Competitive benefits and pension are provided.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3+ Early Years qualification.
• Experience in nursery settings such as Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse or Early Years Educator.
• Passion for making learning fun; strong communication with children and adults; safeguarding awareness.

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging, educational activities with children.

Salary – Starting from £14.98 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What We’re Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
