About the role

Are you a passionate and qualified Design & Technology (DT) Teacher looking for your next opportunity in the Wolverhampton area? We are seeking a dynamic educator to join a supportive secondary school, delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting chance to inspire students, develop their practical skills, and foster creativity in the classroom.

Role Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging DT lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Support students in developing practical and theoretical skills across a range of DT subjects, including resistant materials, textiles, graphics and systems & control.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management, health, and safety.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities, school events and departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and support departmental development.
Role Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Design & Technology at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Passion for engaging students and promoting creativity and innovation.
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
