A healthcare organization in Stroud is seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse to support dentists and dental therapists in various clinical settings. This part-time role (30 hours/week) offers a salary between £27,485 and £30,162 per annum (pro-rata). Gloucestershire Community Dental Services delivers high quality care to individuals with additional and complex needs across the County. We are currently looking for two experienced and enthusiastic GDC registered dental nurses to join our dedicated and supportive team. We have opportunities available at our Stroud clinic (30.0 hours) and Cheltenham clinic (22.5), with an expectation to cover at alternative sites when required.
In this rewarding role, you will support our dentists and dental therapists across a range of settings - including dental clinics and domiciliary care environments. You will need to demonstrate excellent team working skills as well as the ability to work independently and use your own initiative when required.

We provide a Multi-professional preceptorship programme that is aligned to the National Preceptorship Framework for Nursing and have been awarded the Interim quality mark from NHS England. Our programme is provided to all Newly Qualified; Nurses, Nursing Associates, Internationally Educated Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals and Return to Practice Practitioners. In addition to the programme we also offer all preceptees the opportunity of enrolling and completing the level 7 (Masters) 15 credit validated module Preceptorship for Healthcare (AP7026).
Newly qualified Social Workers are offered the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment programme (ASYE) which is similar to a preceptorship programme.
