Job summary

Rodericks Dental Partners is seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse for Church Street Dental Surgery in Dewsbury (WF13 1LB). This part-time role (24 hours per week) offers a supportive environment, ongoing training, and opportunities to contribute to patient care within a clinically led dental group.

You will assist dentists, maintain instruments, uphold infection control, and help create a welcoming experience for patients while supporting a long-standing team in a central town setting.

Qualifications

• GDC-registered dental nurse with current registration.
• Experience in a dental clinical environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are required.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks.
• Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products.
