Job description

Hoop PS & HR are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Assessor on behalf of one of our valued clients in the training industry. This full-time (35 hours), permanent role is based in Cardiff, offering a salary of £25,200–£26,780.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Assessor to deliver high-quality training and assessment, support learners in the workplace, and contribute to positive learner outcomes while maintaining compliance with awarding body and organisational quality standards.

Duties

Deliver engaging training programmes and workplace assessments to assigned learners.

Develop and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and map learning routes.

Reference, assess, and mark learner evidence against qualification requirements.

Maintain accurate learner attendance, progress, and audit records.

Facilitate tests and support day-release or in-house training as required.

Ensure compliance with Award Body regulations and internal quality processes.

Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and identify business opportunities.

Provide additional support to learners when needed.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop training materials and improve course delivery.

Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, lone working, and organisational policies.
