Rodericks Dental Partners Group in Carterton is seeking a Qualified/Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our 40-hour week, on-site role. You’ll support dentists, prepare instruments, and help deliver high standards of care in a friendly, patient-centered environment.
You’ll work with a supportive team, access ongoing training, and have opportunities across our network. The role emphasizes infection control, accurate record-keeping, and patient reassurance throughout visits.
At Rodericks Dental Partners, we believe that outstanding patient care depends on skilled, dedicated dental professionals like you. As a clinically led dental group, we’re passionate about creating practices where people feel valued, respected, and excited to develop their careers. Here, you won’t just assist chairside — you’ll play a vital role in delivering excellent patient experiences and driving the success of the practice.
This is more than a clinical role — it’s a platform for professional fulfillment and personal growth.
"My experience working with Rodericks Dental Partners has been both rewarding and enriching. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside a supportive and professional team, which has helped me grow both personally and professionally. I have enjoyed the patient interaction and the variety of treatment we assist with. Being able to support patients throughout their dental journey, especially those who may be anxious and nervous, and seeing their confidence grow after treatment is incredibly rewarding. I’ve gained valuable clinical skills, built a lot of confidence, and developed stronger communication skills, especially when supporting nervous patients. Overall, I have felt supported by my approachable colleagues, and I’ve become more independent and resourceful in my role. One moment that stood out to me was helping a very anxious patient who hadn’t seen a dentist in years; by the end of the appointment, they were visibly more relaxed and thanked me personally for making the experience easier. It reminded me how much of a difference we can make, not just through clinical work, but through empathy and support."
