Job summary

Rodericks Dental Partners are seeking a Qualified/Apprentice Dental Nurse for High Street Dental Practice in Burton-on-Trent. The role offers 30 hours per week across three weekdays with a Saturday shift, within a supportive, clinically led network focused on skill development and patient care.

You’ll assist dentists, maintain instruments, uphold infection control, and support patients through their visit while benefiting from ongoing training, DBS/GDC support, and career progression across our

Qualifications

• GDC-registered Dental Nurse (required)
• Confident and professional communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Comfortable working in a clinical environment, including procedures with blood or MOS
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Caring, compassionate approach toward patients and colleagues
• Proactive attitude towards learning and professional development

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment and materials
• Uphold infection control and surgery cleanliness standards
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks
• Promote oral health and dental care products to patients
• Contribute to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team

• Dental nurse with 10 years’ experience
• Clinician with 14 years’ dental experience (started as a nurse)
