Undertake statutory responsibilities for children in need, those subject to child protection plans, and families in pre‑proceedings.

Complete strengths‑based assessments aligned with the Family Safeguarding Model, ensuring children’s voices are at the centre of every decision.

Develop and implement strengths‑focused care and safety plans that promote resilience and positive family outcomes.

Utilise Motivational Interviewing techniques to help parents address and reduce risk factors effectively.

Work collaboratively within multi‑agency partnerships, engaging in joint meetings and interventions to promote child and family well‑being.

Conduct assessments and reviews under the Children Act 1989, ensuring compliance with statutory and best practice frameworks.

Maintain accurate, detailed case records, contributing to ongoing quality assurance and service improvements.

Participate in reflective supervision and contribute to a learning culture through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Actively support the continuous improvement of safeguarding practice across the team.
