Assured Safety Recruitment is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to lead our client's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental function within a growing manufacturing business. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on involvement on the shop floor to drive standards and continuous improvement.
You will own integrated management systems, coordinate internal and external audits, and shape sustainability and ESG objectives, including carbon reduction, waste management and governance.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can operatestrategically while staying close to day-to-day manufacturing operations. You will take ownership of management systems, compliance, audits, continuous improvement, safety culture, quality performance and environmental initiatives across the business.

As QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving integrated management systems across quality, health, safety and environmental standards. You will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to ensure the business remains compliant, audit-ready and focused on continual improvement.
You will also take a leading role in sustainability and ESG activity, helping to define objectives, monitor performance and support practical initiatives around carbon reduction, waste, energy usage, employee wellbeing, governance and responsible business practices.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a QHSE, SHEQ or HSEQ management role within a manufacturing or operational environment.
You will be comfortable leading audits, improving systems, influencing stakeholders and working both strategically and practically. You should be someone who is visible on the shop floor, confident with senior stakeholders and able to bring people with you when driving change.
