Qualifications

  • Conduct inspections of manufactured parts and systems.

QHSE Inspector

Excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturer ensuring quality, health, safety, and environmental standards are met by conducting inspections, identifying risks, and managing compliance requirements. The role would suit anyone working in a similar role or a graduate with a passion for industrial engineering, QHSE or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the QHSE manager to review compliance requirements and ensure standards in line with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
  • Undertake spot checks of the required inputs / outputs & documented information
  • Inspection of manufactured parts and completed systems
  • Goods inward inspection
  • Report on preventative action and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Report non-conformance activities and assist in the generation and completion of non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
  • Verification of NCR resolution to an agreed timescales & targets.
  • Support new process development & product improvement activities.
  • Undertake Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental inspection across the business
The ideal candidate
  • Will be interested in a role where they can manage and improve processes such as QHSE ,manufacturing, production or industrial engineering
  • Have a good understanding of manufacturing processes through work or study.
  • Have confident experience with inspection tools including Vernier's, Micrometers and gauges
  • Have knowledge of ISO Standards. 9001, 45001 & 14001
  • Ideally have knowledge of quality improvement tools such as DMAIC, 5s & Kaizen
  • Be a great communicator able to collaborate with people at all levels and confident to provide training to operators
  • Have excellent attention to detail and confident reporting and analysis skills.
