Job description

A growing, independent engineering business specialising in the design, manufacture and operation of remote intervention and ROV-deployed tooling solutions is looking to appoint a QHSE Coordinator on a permanent, part-time basis at their Kintore site. The position offers 15 hours per week, with flexibility on how these hours are structured across the week. This is a fully office/site-based role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organising and maintaining integrated management system folders and archive as appropriate.
  • Developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and procedures aligned with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Working with relevant departments to ensure procedures reflect current practice and support continuous improvements.
  • Conducting internal audits and follow up with corrective actions.
  • Ensuring documentation used is current and revise where applicable.
  • Managing the Performance Improvement Notice (PIN) Log and work closely with the external QHSE team to complete actions.
  • Acting as a point of contact for QHSE queries.
  • Coordinating with the external QHSE Team during scheduled visits, supporting updates, audit reviews and implementation of improvements.
  • Assisting in training employees on management system procedures and standards.
  • Preparing quarterly QHSE performance reports for management.
Person Requirements
  • Previous experience in a QHSE role within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including communication and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for working within a manufacturing environment.
