Job summary

SRG in Greater Manchester is recruiting a QC Scientist to join our expanding CDMO team. The role focuses on supporting QC testing of products and assisting with method development and validation activities.

You will perform hands-on UPLC/HPLC analyses, IR identification, and various QC tests (appearance, pH, dissolution, water content) in a GMP environment, contributing to successful batch releases and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• GMP pharma QC experience required.
• Hands-on UPLC/HPLC analysis experience.
• Dissolution testing and related substances knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on UPLC/HPLC analysis on products.
• Carry out IR identification and appearance testing.
• Conduct pH and dissolution testing.
• Perform water content analysis.
• Support method transfers, validations and development.
• Assist with CAPAs and root cause investigations for deviations.
• Assist with investigations into OOS results.
