Job Title: QC Packaging Technician

Vacancy type: 12 month FTC

Area: Leeds

Salary: £26500 per annum + attractive benefits

SRG is working with a pharmaceutical company in Leeds. We are looking for a QC Packaging Technician to join the Quality team. A fantastic opportunity to strengthen your QC skills within a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment working with experienced team members.

Responsibilities
  • Inspection of Primary packaging to the approved, current standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Inspection of Printed packaging to the approved SOPs.
  • Supports QC sample retention and sampling activities for raw materials and components.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all appropriate records relating to both work and equipment operation.
  • Ensure correct calibration of equipment is carried out.
  • Understand CoSHH and Risk assessments.
  • Support administrative processes ensuring retention for archiving of QC documents.
  • The technician should have analytical and data documentation skills in physical inspection of primary and secondary packaging components, utilizing in-house instructions, instrumentation and software.
  • The technician will perform pre-collation and reconciliation of labels for the production team, utilizing SAP system.
  • The technician should always ensure GMP/data integrity principles are followed at all times.
  • The technician once fully trained should have the skills to perform basic artwork origination tasks and support PCPAP activities.
Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree with the ability to be proactive in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.
  • Understand all basic GMP and GLP requirements including data integrity requirements.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the willingness to develop within QC packaging as a long-term successor.
