Overview

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently looking for a QC Materials Inspector on a full-time, permanent basis located in Great Yarmouth.


Role Summary

The role will encompass Material Inspection of both raw materials and packaging. Additionally, the role will include purchasing lab consumables and support of microbiological sampling across the site.


Qualifications and Experience


  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C (9-4) including Maths & English

  • Preferably, experience of working in a QC environment, handling chemicals, sampling, testing chemicals and packaging.

  • Preferably, experience of microbiological sampling

  • Candidates with higher level qualifications will also be considered ie A Levels, BTEC, or experience preferably in a suitable scientific/technical discipline.


Person Specification


  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

  • Proficient in computer packages, including MS Word & Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.

  • Emotionally resilient with the ability to work under pressure with a can-do attitude.

  • Ability to work as a team.
